I’ve just added the new book stores whose owners I met at Fandomfest and are now carrying my books to the links section below. Wow! Louisville was a real pressure cooker with the temps around 100 and the A/C at the con not all that effective. Still, the attendance was exceptional. Congratulations to Steve Zimmer for a great job introducing a fantastic literary program to Fright Night Film Festival. Now called Fandomfest, the convention hosted a number of literary and media guests.
My next convention is Roc-Con on Sept. 24th in Rochester. This a one day ComiCon-style, multi-genre convention. My August goal is to finish Galaxy of the Damned, the fourth and final book in the Space Frontiers series. I will be in Palm Desert, California for a week to make sure I have time to finish it without distraction. I’m considering turning Princess Pain into a novel when Galaxy is behind me. The script has garnered some interest already and it might be prudent to have a novel ready in the event of a deal.
While at the convnetion in Louisville, I saw a lot of friends/fans from the Columbus (Ohio) area. I also met the owners of two independent bookstores who are now carrying all of my books.
