2011
Just returned from an exciting weekend in Rochester at Roc-Con. Congratulations to Alicia and the Roc-Con staff for a great job in their first Roc-Con convention. Everyone had a great time. Things went so well that the convention is going to two days next year.
I’ll be in Orlando the first week of October for Spookie Empire at the Wyndham Hotel on International. Not only will I have a table there but I’m hosting a panel at 5:00 on Saturday, October 8th titled “Books to Movies: What happened to the Story?” I’m looking forward to returning as I have a lot of friends and fans in the Orlando area.
I’m still waiting for word on a release date for Galaxy of the Damned. Currently the manuscript is going through the editing process which takes a little time. As soon as I know, I’ll post it on the site.
Thanks for joining me, once again.

2011
Summer’s come to an end and we’re already halfway through September. Time flies way too fast. Coming up on September 24th, I’ll be in Rochester for Roc-Con at the Armory on Main Street. This is a one day Comicon style convention that has a big following. I’ll have a table there for friends and fans who want to come on by.
I missed the big east coast shaker while in California of all places but made it back for the hurricane. What an eventful week? Now that Space Frontiers is completed with galaxy of the Damned, I’m reviewing all my projects, particularly the screenplays. I’m searching for an agent for a few of the scripts but they don’t seem to be interested in my genres. Sometimes it feels like a no win situation. Need an agent to get a deal with a producer but you can’t get an agent unless you already have a deal pending with a producer. Hmmm, doesn’t quite make sense, does it?
I’m hoping to spend more time on my screenwriting and less on the books. Having eight published is quite a lot. With Spookie Empire and Steel City Con coming up, I still have plenty to do. Join me again for more info and don’t hesitate to send questions. I’m more than happy to answer them for you.
Thanks,
Mike D.
