Welcome to another edition of Author's Corner. Twisted Fate is off to a good start and below is a list of signings scheduled so far. April is a busy month for me with my full time job, so I haven't been able to set up as much as I'd like. That will be changing up in a few weeks when I return to a normal working schedule.

The following is an updated schedule:

Twisted Fate is available through Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble. Waldenbooks' system hasn't picked it up yet, but it should be soon. I'm not sure about the other chains yet. I haven't had time to follow up with the various book sites for availability.

Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching and I'll be going to San Jose for the BayCon festival from the 23rd to the 27th. I won't be participating in the festival as an author because I have two signings on the 23rd and 24th and I'm ready for an R&R trip.

If you happen to be at the festival and would like to have a copy of Fractured Time or Twisted Fate autographed, feel free to contact the front desk and leave me a message. I'll make time to accommodate you. I'm staying at the Doubletree Inn where the festival is taking place.

This month, my writers' tip is based on the festivals. I strongly recommend that you take time to attend one of the big sci-fi/ fantasy/horror festivals for a weekend of fun and excitement. Last year, on Labor Day weekend in Atanta, the DragonCon festival was excellent.

During the evening (10:00-1:30), three or four bands play in the different ballrooms. Between the costumed fans and the musical entertainment, it was fantastic. Many famous stars and writers tend to show up.

There are discussion panels, shows and writers' workshops happening the whole time as well. It's a great learning environment for aspiring writers and doubles as a good vacation as well. Many famous authors and artists appear at these events and are usually available to talk to.

This is my first visit to BayCon so I'll have to give you a personal review when I return. Check the websites for festivals in your particular genre (field of interest). You'll be surprised at the events that take place in all the major cities.

Thank you again for joining me and please join me again next month for another edition of Author's Corner
