Hello, everyone.
Welcome to another edition of Author's Corner. Earlier this month, I participated in a pitch fest hosted by Fade In magazine in Los Angeles. Pitching is quite an experience the first time you try it. I met with representatives from eleven film companies. Each one seemed to have a genuine interest in Fractured Time. Several of the reps strongly encouraged me to write a script for the story. They recommended a software package titled Final Draft 6 and a spec format guide. After much deliberation, I've written the script for Fractured Time.
As a result of the pitch fest, I've curtailed many of my promotional activities for a little while. I may add some signings in November or December, but for now, I have much work to do.
I'm flying to Atlanta for the Labor Day weekend to attend DragonCon. This is an excellent opportunity to meet other writers, musicians, and actors. Thanks for your support. Please join me again for another edition of author's corner.
