Happy holidays and welcome back to another edition of Author's Corner. Things are finally starting to take shape for 2004 beginning with Dark Horizon, which should be released in the late March, early April time frame. I'm sure you'll find it every bit as exciting as Fractured Time and Twisted Fate. There are a few character surprises that will stun you. When I receive the official release date, I'll begin scheduling signings again. These next three months, I need to plan and implement my promotional strategies. My website will be modified as well with the image of Dark Horizon and a "click to purchase" link as well. I'd like to thank everyone who visited me at the Montgomeryville Mall Waldenbooks. We had a really good turnout for both dates. I'd also like to thank Lisa S., the assistant manager for her help in arranging the signings and placing promotional media around the store. On March 27, I'll be in Charlottesville for the Virginia Festival of the Book. I'll have a table in the Dealer's Hall of the Omni Hotel for the second year in a row. I'll have copies of all three books of the Fractured Time Trilogy for sale. I'm working out final details to attend WesterCon 57 in Phoenix, Arizona over the 4th of July weekend. WesterCon 57 is an exciting science fiction festival held in Phoenix at the Wigwam Resort. I'm hoping to have a table in the Dealer's Hall for this event as well. This provides me with an unrestricted opportunity to speak with everyone about everything while promoting the Fractured Time Trilogy as well. Baltimore, Atlanta, San Jose and Los Angeles are also possible stops for me in 2004. I'll have details on those locations at a later date. I just started two new projects during the Christmas season. One happens to be a screenplay for a Christmas comedy. The second project is a novel based on Billy Brock's son, Will Saris. The story will feature new adventures with a new crop of characters and only brief cameos of a few previous characters. I haven't decided to make this new novel the start of a series or not. This decision is somewhat dependent on my success in selling Fractured Time to a motion picture company. Next month, I'll resume the writers' tips I usually provide. Some of the information I'm waiting for has been slow getting to me. Join me next month for another edition of Author's Corner. Have a safe and happy New Year. - Michael D'Ambrosio . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
