The Worlds of Michael D'Ambrosio

Welcome, everyone, to another edition of Author’s Corner. My new novel, The Eye of Icarus, is now available through most major booksellers and online venues. The other option is to follow me to one of many conventions and signings in the future and we can talk directly.

The last few weeks, I’ve been to BaltiCon (Baltimore, Md) and ConCarolinas (Charlotte, NC). I met a lot of wonderful people and sold quite a few books along the way. I have about seven weeks to catch up on my work until Confluence in Pittsburgh. I’m hosting a table in the dealers’ room so come on by and say hello.

Now that I’m back at my desk, I’m currently working on a screenplay titled The Christmas Solution. My agent has suggested that I rework it into more of a comedy than an adventure story. I was torn between the two and leaned more toward an adventure story but sometimes, as a writer, you have to give other ideas a chance.

I recently did an interview for the Mona Miller Show in LA on CRN Digital Talk Radio. Mona is one of the most pleasant people I’ve ever spoken with and is so upbeat about life..

In the past, I included a section for writers’ tips. Since s many were covered and archived, I’ve stopped that part of the regular update.
