The Worlds of Michael D'Ambrosio

Hello, everyone. It’s been a tough summer as I had to cancel a few of my conventions due to a family member’s injury. Things are getting better and I’m back at it again. I hoped to have news of a movie deal but that seems to have fallen apart in an ugly way. My guess is that it’s not happening, but who knows? I’m focusing on my next novel Space Truckers 3 right now and finally got past the first chapter. It’s been a complicated chapter until I figured out how to open. I’m bringing back some surprise characters while adding some new ones with ties to groups in ST2. It has to be right for the story to have the maximum effect.

Coming up on October 16-18, I’ll be in Altoona for SciFiValleyCon. I hope to continue doing their spring and fall show as the fans there have always treated me well. I’ve already committed to their 2027 spring show on June 11th. I’ve already booked my table at FanExpo in Philadelphia for May 28-30. In addition, I’ll be returning to ShoreLeave in Lancaster, Pa. for June 11-13. I had to cancel my appearances at ShoreLeave and SciFiValleyCon earlier due to the family obligation. I hope to add more shows but that will depend on my workload as I plan to get back into some screenplay writing again. There’s just never enough time.
