Welcome back, everyone. I’ve just returned from BaltiCon and I’m gearing up for a number of other events as well. I had the opportunity due to a favorable schedule of panels to spend time with many of my friends, both authors and dealers alike. I also had a chance to see my good friend CJ Henderson who has been very ill but was able to attend the convention. I ask all of you to keep him in your prayers. He has a tough fight ahead of him. The TV Gods launch party was a smashing success. For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, this is an anthology where mythological characters are plugged into a modern day TV series with some hilarious results. Kudos to my friends at Fortress Publishing for a great job making this a fantastic success. This was the first time I’ve sold a short story that was published. I’ve often found it difficult to adapt from a novel length story to a short story.
On June 14th, from 10-6, I’ll be joining several other authors from TV Gods at the York Emporium at 373 W. Market St. in York, PA, of course. For those of you who can come by, my friends at the store have a whole day of events planned for “Sci-Fi Saturday” so come on down and see what’s going on. The store is gigantic and they have an awesome selection of used books at great bargains. Check out their site at www.theyorkemporium.com .
On June 27th to the 29th, I’ll be at Sci-FiValleyCon in Altoona, Pa. This will be my first time with this convention and it looks like it should be a great time. July 4th to the 6th, I’l be at Inconjunction in Indianapolis for my first time with the Indy crew as well.
I’m getting closer to the completion of Night Creeps 2 and its definitely a more adult horror story than the original. You’ll soon notice that ‘Space Frontiers: The Eye of Icarus’ will have a new cover. This is something that I’ve wanted for a long time and my publisher, Helm Publishing, has agreed to the change. I felt the old cover was so ‘lacking’ compared to the others. I turned to my very talented friend and publisher, Patti Hultstrand, to spin her creative magic and come up with something exciting. As usual, she was awesome. I’m sure all of you will appreciate the sci-fi appeal of the new look. Join me again soon for more updates and appearances.

I just returned from a ten-day trip to Arizona and the LepreCon Sci-fi Convention. The time flew by so fast as I did several radio and blog interviews during the week and then partook of the convention for the weekend.
I’d like to give a thank you to everyone at LepreCon, especially those who purchased books from me, for a great time. Patti H., Brick Cave Media, The Hay Girls (Song River & Co.), Cult Classics and the Blog Goddess (yes, you, Tina) deserve special thanks for the interviews, events and pictures. I’m really looking forward to returning next year. I thnk I need an extra day or two in Sedona as well. What a beautiful mountain region just an hour from Phoenix.
Coming up shortly is BaltiCon in Hunt Valley, Md. I’ll be doing panels and selling in the dealers room as usual so I invite all to come by and say hello. The anthology TV Gods will debut at the convention with my first short story, Greek on the Beach, to be published. Imagine mythical characters in modern day TV shows and you can imagine where this is going.
I’ve had a few requests for the Princess Pain script and also a few viewers (movie execs) on the Inktip website for the Princess as well. Let’s keep hoping that one of them is a match for the script.Inktip.com has been a great source for leads and for industry viewers for my scripts.
With all my appearances coming up, I’ve had a difficult time trying to finish Night Creeps 2. After the novel, I’ll definitely write the screenplay for this story. This is definitely a more adult horror story than Night Creeps. And then there’s the Queen of Pain, the sequel to Princess Pain. So many stories, so little time to write. Join me again soon to find out what’s new and exciting.

Hello, everyone. Here is an update on my visit to Phoenix. On Sunday, May 4th, I’ll be doing a live interview with KWOD from 7-9 pm. May 7th, I’ll be at The Refuge Cafe , 4727 N. 7th Ave. in Phoenix. I’ll be speaking there on Screenwriting and Books. On May 11th, I’ll be doing another interview with Brick Cave Media at 2:30 at LepreCon. I’m waiting for confirmation on another interview on Tuesday night but I don’t have that info yet. I don’t have a schedule yet for the programs I’m doing but I can tell you what they are:
The Big Bang Theory (the show); Writing for Different Mediums; The Piratey Panel (Ahoy, Maties); Ancient Aliens; Future of Money; Space Colonization. It’s already a busy but fun-filled week.
For those who didn’t know, I will be attending InConjunction in Indianapolis in July and MileHiCon in Denver in October. Check back for more news about appearances and projects.
